Confirmation Class '09 - '10

The photograph on the left is of this year's sixth class who will make their Confirmation in May during their last term of primary school. The photo was taken during their preparation for their Confirmation Pledge Mass in February '10 in the Church of the Assumption beside the school.

Confirmation

Preparations for this year's Confirmation began in November when the 6th class pupils attended their enrolment ceremony. The making of their pledge followed in February and on 6th June, the twenty two young adults in 6th class celebrated this important and happy occasion...the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The sacrament took place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Termonfechin and we were joined by 6th class from Scoil Naomh Feichin who also made their Confirmation that day. The music for the ceremony was provided by our 4th and 5th class pupils. The Slide Show on the right highlights a few of the key moments of the ceremony. Enjoy!
