Receiving our Green Flag

Scoil Náisiúnta Muire gan Smál received its Green Flag on 14th April '08. Internationally renowned actor, Evanna Lynch, alias Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter films performed the honour of raising our green flag. It was a touching moment as Evanna is a past pupil of our school.

Members of the Board of Management, Parents' Council, representatives from Louth County Council, the Green Committee, staff, students and guests were all present. It was a proud and happy day for our school. Our sincerest congratulations and thanks to the excellent "Green School Committee" who worked so hard to achieve this.
