Sports Day

Sports day is an annual event for all the boys and girls af Scoil Muire gan Smál. It is immensely enjoyed by staff and students alike with a fun day of activities, some competitive and some not. These activities range from the more traditional games and races such as the one legged race, the sack race and the spud 'n' spoon race to the bouncing castle, slides and obstacle courses. There is a real emphasis on participation and every child is awarded with a medal at the end of the day. The medal is in recognition of each student's contribution towards all the activities.
