Coaching in Our School

Basketball
​Tiago, a basketball coach was in with the older classes teaching them basketball skills. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the coaching. Well done to all!!

Swimming

This term 3rd Class are enjoying swimming lessons in Aura. They are making excellent progress and improving their swimming skills each week. Swimming really is a life skill. Keep up the great work!

Hurling

This year we were very lucky to have access to an excellent hurling coach, Paddy. Paddy is from St. Fechins GAA Club. This is a great opportunity for our children to experience coaching at such a young age and as a class group and is done during school time as part of the P.E. curriculum. Hopefully this will encourage the children to join the hurling team and also attend training after school.
