parents will be invited by letter to meet the class teacher and principal in an attempt to find the root causes for the bad behaviour and to devise strategies for improvement. They may be shown a file outlining instances of poor behaviour and dates and frequency of occurrence
If parents either are unable or refuse to help modify the child’s behaviour, then they will be notified that suspension is likely.
The Chairman of the Board will be made aware of all such serious breaches of discipline and may wish to meet the parents concerned.
If still no improvement is to be seen, the child will be suspended and the parents will be notified by letter.
